pub enum Outcome {
Kept,
Dropped,
Cancelled,
}Expand description
What a purse did with a transfer the mint refused.
Variants§
Kept
Nothing: a transfer this purse made stays outgoing, for the next
settle. So it is after a refusal that may pass
later, one Error::is_transient accepts or frozen, and after one
that shows nothing about the transfer: unknown_mint or unissued
from a server that is not the mint’s or lost its state, spent or
expired with another status than the mint’s 409, layer_full with
another than its 503, or unauthorized or duplicate_input, which
the mint never answers to a transfer a holder signed.
Dropped
Refused as spent or expired, with the mint’s status 409: the note
it spends is gone, so the purse forgot the
transfer. Change the counterparty hands over later is still taken in
by accept.
Cancelled
Refused as layer_full, with the mint’s status 503, or as policy,
when the policy the mint publishes now refuses it too: the purse
cancelled the transfer and took its note back. The
mint checks the note before the layer the new notes would land in, so
after layer_full the note is live and the transfer was never
applied, and it never will be: that layer gets no bits back before
the note’s own is dropped.
