Worgl CloudHosted mints

Worgl Cloud.

Not available yet

Worgl Cloud will run your mints for you. You create a mint for each kind of token, mint to your own systems with your own authority key, and your holders use the SDKs. It runs the same open-source server you can run yourself.

There is no waitlist and no form. Questions and ideas go to GitHub Discussions, in public.

01Promises

What it will promise.

Four commitments, made before the service exists, so you can hold it to them.

  1. Worgl never mints

Worgl never mints, holds or redeems value. Only your authority key can mint.

  2. One note per transfer

Every hosted mint takes one note per transfer, so no transfer reveals that two notes share an owner.

  3. Supply, not lineage

You see supply and usage, never per-note events. Lineage is kept only until the next snapshot, plus seven days of backups.

  4. Three zones

Every mint is replicated across three zones, and no acknowledged transfer is lost when a server fails.

02Where it stands

Three steps, no dates.

Each step starts when the one before it has done what it says, not on a calendar.

  1. In progress

    Private alpha

Replication is built and tested against seeded faults. No one's mint runs on it until failover drills on the hosted servers lose nothing.

  2. Next

    Beta

Free, with capacity quotas. Pricing is published before anyone is billed.

  3. Then

    General availability

An availability target, prices and a bug bounty, after an independent security review.

Until then, the server Worgl Cloud will run is yours to run today, alone or as a three-member cluster.
